Coloured Pencil

Highslide JS
Quite possibly my favorite picture I've ever drawn so far. This took me about a week to complete, even though on the day I finished it it was 5am and had been working on it from about 10pm the previous night. Needless to say I was very tired and was victim to involuntary thumb spasms for the next few days.
Mystic Nights
Highslide JS
A request for one of Chris' friends at work. He wanted me to draw a picture to do with a very old game called 'MoonStone'

I used MoonStone posters to get a general idea what the game was about, but used no direct reference from them for the picture itself.

Moonstone

I really wanted to try something interesting, and for a change I thought I'd have a go at drawing water drops. In the picture the person is basically having a small amount of water splashed over her head (hence the name). I was experimenting with water and ended up with this: a piece that I am very proud of.

This is actually my Fursona (Fursona = Furry Persona). I love wolves, so what better to make my fursona than a wolf.
Seasonalwolf
Highslide JS
The Fursona (Fursona = furry persona) of my boyfriend Chris, I thought it would be interesting to draw. It has turned out well, Chris is happy with his wolf.
Manic
Highslide JS
Actually drawn for a competition set by Mustamamba. The set title for the competition was 'When Darkness Turns To Light'. I wanted to take a more original stab at this theme and am happy to say I don't think anyone else in the competition had a similar idea.

Note: The character is Mustamamba's. The drawing itself, the style of drawing and the situation the character is in is MINE

When Darkness turns To Light
Highslide JS
Me and Chris as wolves sitting on a wall. I've never really tried drawing from behind before, but I do like how it looks although I really should fill in the background with sky.
Love in the Lamp light
Highslide JS
Drawn so long ago that I can't remember when. I know it's not great, but I thought I'd put it here anyway as it's one of the first night scene pictures I had ever done.
Lurking in Darkness
Highslide JS
Another picture representing me and Chris. I love this picture so much, I think it's just adorable!
Forever...
Highslide JS
Basically a simple sarcastic comment about the way we have abused our planet and our selves in a cartoon picture form.
And The Sun Shines Down On The World We Have Created
Highslide JS
I don't know what made me draw this, I think I just wanted to try a face for once as it had has been so long since I had drawn a human rather than a wolf. I really do like it though and am very glad I used blue instead of grey for the shadows.
Inquisitive
Highslide JS
Yes, it's a naked man, shock horror. Calm down people, it's not completely indecent. And it served the purpose of practicing drawing men, rocks, candles, wings, and shiny metal. All of which I need to practice drawing.
In Shackles
Highslide JS
A simple bit of fun really. Gwenith looking demonic and holding a giant cookie. Who doesn't love that?
Come to the dark side, we have cookies
Highslide JS
Another picture of Gwenith. This time suffering from hay fever, an infuriating condition that occurs mostly in the Summer where the person is allergic to excess amounts of pollen and therefore continually sneezes and has itchy eyes. A condition that I also suffer from every ... single ... Summer!
Hay fever sucks
Highslide JS
I was practicing a particular style and I thought I'd draw a little demon girl. I think I have drawn the various horns protruding out of her quite well... indeed.
Cursed Child
Highslide JS
A simple picture to try out different standing positions. It didn't turn out as I would have liked, the stance looks a little forced, but I like her outfit.
Waiting
Highslide JS
Simple boredom waiting for my mum to pick me up from school in year 11. Drawn and coloured almost entirely in a car park.

I was trying out a new style of colouring where white edges are left around the inside edge to act as more shine.

Jackalope
Highslide JS
I love this picture. Mostly because it was my first full page picture that was entirely coloured. The colour of the paper detracts from the effect, i know, but it's very hard to stop the pencil in the grey scale background from migrating wherever it likes on the page. Anyway, violent picture, lots of blood, yes it's a cat.
Back Alley Massacre
Highslide JS
Creepy, no? If you think that then you know the meaning of the picture: To simply creep you out. The swing has been the scene of a hideous and moderately violent murder.
No One Swings Here Anymore...
Highslide JS
A contextual study of a flower from a book that I had to do for my Art GCSE.
White + Red
Highslide JS
A contextual study of a flower by Georgia O'Keafe that I had to do for my Art GCSE.
Lilly

Ink
Highslide JS
This is the first ever inked picture that I have done, and definitely not the last. I am very happy with how it turned out.
Little Girl Death
Water Colour Paint

Highslide JS
The first in a short series of dress designs, this is my favorite of the three. I don't even want to remember how many layers of paint I used on the hair alone!
Burgundy Dress
Highslide JS
The second in the series, probably my least favorite, but I still love it.
Blue Dress
Highslide JS
My second favorite, despite the fact that orange is my favorite colour. I wanted all three designs to run on a theme, but didn't want the dresses to be too similar. I think I have achieved that quite well.
Orange Dress
Highslide JS
Yes, I know she doesn't have a nose. But for some reason I can't remember why...
By Candle-light
Highslide JS
Drawn around Christmas, I originally thought of making it a card, but never really got round to it for some reason.
Winter Wolf
Highslide JS
This one's very old. Drawn while I was in Devon about two years ago, I still really like it.
Hopscotch

Sketches and Line Art

Highslide JS
Quite an old sketch but i still love it. I tried to go for a more interesting position for the wolf, rather than a classic standing position.

Wolf

Highslide JS

I once planned on colouring this, but was worried about ruining it completely.

Interesting Fact: I once copied this onto Chris' back in grey pen.

Dragon
Highslide JS
A very old drawing. probably about a year old, I'm still very proud of it though.
Pensive
Highslide JS
Probably the best shading I've ever done on a picture. It's creepy, but I love that weird bird.
Black Bird
Highslide JS
Another quite old sketch, I like this character though, so I may redo this at some point.
